Afternoon Poetry: Slick Ticking

Find me intertwined, frayed, splayed.
Lines so clear,
They blur in a seconds.
A stout belief in heart and soul,
Love of loves and magic wings,
Giving higher self a lesson,
On timeless time,
Ticking away the days,
And stopping DEAD.
My love today is strong,
Withstanding brash hurricane winds,
High tides,
Thunder and lightening bolts,
And disrupted mountainsides.
Because really,
The torment only exists,
In our minds.
Hearts quake every second,
Of every day.
Ticking away our life's blood,
Limb to limb,
And stopping DEAD.
My love today is strong,
Until the day I die.
The day I die.
